Contest Overview
The Shores of Port Credit Partnership (the "Sponsor") is hosting The Shores of Port Credit x Tawse Winery Private Dinner Contest (the "Contest"). No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario, Canada only, who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry. The following individuals are not eligible to enter: Current residents of The Shores of Port Credit.
  • Current residents of The Shores of Port Credit.
  • Employees, contractors, directors, and officers of The Shores of Port Credit, Tawse Winery Inc., and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies.
  • Immediate family members (spouse, parent, sibling, or child) or household members of any of the above.
This Contest is open to Ontario residents only. Residents of Quebec are not eligible to enter.
Contest Period
The Contest begins on [START DATE — July 25, 2026] at 9:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) and ends on [END DATE — August 25, 2026] at 11:59 PM ET (the "Contest Period"). Entries submitted outside of the Contest Period will not be eligible.
How to Enter
To receive one (1) Contest entry, eligible participants must complete ALL of the following steps during the Contest Period, in no particular order:
  1. Follow @theshoresofportcredit on Instagram or Facebook.
  2. Follow @tawsewinery on Instagram or Facebook.
  3. Like the official Contest post on Instagram or Facebook.
  4. (for organic) Tag at least one (1) person you would bring to the private dinner in the comments of the Contest post. (for paid) Comment telling us who you’d bring to the private dinner in the comments of the Contest post.

Bonus Entries

Eligible participants may earn up to two (2) additional bonus entries by completing either or both of the following optional steps:
  1. Story Share: Share the Contest post to your Instagram or Facebook Story, tag both @theshoresofportcredit and @tawsewinery in the Story, and then comment “shared!” on the Contest post. Story tags for both accounts are required to qualify for this bonus entry. One (1) bonus entry per person.
  2. Newsletter Sign-Up: Sign up for The Shores of Port Credit e-newsletter using a valid email address. By completing this step, you consent to receive marketing communications from The Shores of Port Credit. You may unsubscribe at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any email. This sign-up is subject to applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and constitutes consent under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). One (1) bonus entry per person.
Limit: one (1) standard entry and up to two (2) bonus entries per person, regardless of the number of accounts used. Entries made on behalf of another person will not be accepted. Automated, robotic, or programmatic entries are not permitted.
Prize
One (1) Grand Prize is available to be won, consisting of the following:
  1. A multi-course private dining experience for the winner and five (5) guests (six people total), held in the private dining room at The Shores of Port Credit, 280 Lakeshore Road West, Mississauga, Ontario.
  2. Dinner personally prepared by the Executive Chef of The Shores of Port Credit. In the event the Executive Chef is unavailable due to illness or other circumstances, the meal will be prepared by the Sous Chef of The Shores of Port Credit.
  3. Wine pairings provided by Tawse Winery Inc., featuring a selection of Tawse Wines curated for the dinner menu. 
  4. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): The prize has no cash value and is non-transferable. No substitutions are permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
  5. The prize must be redeemed within 90 days of the winner being notified. The date and time of the dinner shall be mutually agreed upon between the winner and The Shores of Port Credit.

Prize Delivery and Substitution

Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited, unaided mathematical skill-testing question (2+2= ?) In the event of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor at the residence (including but not limited to facility closures, emergency situations, or force majeure events), The Shores of Port Credit will be responsible for rescheduling the dinner experience at a mutually convenient time. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize, in whole or in part, with a prize of equal or greater value if the described prize or any component thereof becomes unavailable for any reason.
Winner Selection and Notification
One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on or around [August 6, 2026]. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The potential winner will be notified by direct message (DM) to the Instagram or Facebook account used to enter. The Sponsor will also publish an announcement via an Instagram or Facebook post confirming that a winner has been selected (the winner's name will only be disclosed publicly with their consent). The potential winner must respond to the DM notification within 72 hours of the message being sent. Failure to respond within this time period, failure to satisfy the eligibility requirements, or inability to accept the prize as described may result in the prize being forfeited and an alternate winner being selected by random draw.
General Conditions
  • The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest at any time if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest.
  • All decisions of the Sponsor regarding eligibility, winner selection, and prize delivery are final and binding.
  • Taxes, if any applicable, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  • Travel, if applicable, is the sole responsibility of the winner.
  • By entering, participants confirm they have read and agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor.
  • The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, acts in a disruptive manner, or violates these Official Rules.
  • This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook (Meta Platforms, Inc.). Participants release Meta Platforms, Inc. from any and all liability arising from participation in this Contest. Privacy and CASL Compliance
Personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest and will be handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
  1. The Sponsor will not sell or share personal information with third parties except as required to administer the Contest or as required by law.
  2. All personal information will be retained only for as long as necessary to administer the Contest and will be securely deleted thereafter.
 
Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the use of their name, social media handle, likeness, and prize-related statements for promotional purposes by the Sponsor in any media without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
